Carol and I have just bought an old Welsh farm house and 7 acres including a large conservation area with a lake. We are new to this area and life style but full of enthusiasm and keen to find out what assistance in the form of grants etc. We have on very wet field to the south of our house, about 2 acres and feel we may plant trees to aid the drying process.

We are awaiting our Holding number and this should be due through the post anytime soon.
Please help us to help ourselves to live our dream.

Local farmers have already made us welcome and I am sure we will fit in here near Llandeilo

Just sold the house near Bristol before embarking on our long held dream to return to wild west wales (I am welsh!) (hopefully near Llandeilo) for the dream smallholding. Hoorah! Have way too much enthusiasm balanced out with not a great deal of knowledge...eagerly looking forward to learning everything! Look forward to learning from you all!
