SS&GF/RBST t-shirts - opinions please
« on: August 21, 2013, 07:46:07 pm »
We're thinking about getting some t-shirts printed for the Scottish Smallholder & Grower Festival to promote the RBST. RBST are on-board, and as you'll see the shirts will be co-branded. We want to gauge the potential interest before getting a load printed though, and would welcome feedback.

These would cost £10 each with £2 of that going directly to RBST. We're looking at two colours - grey marl and black. Images of draft 'designs' are attached - the lighter colour one is supposd to be grey.  :-\

Some questions - would you buy one of these as they stand, and if so which one(s)? If not, would you buy one if they were better designed/had a different slogan, or would you not consider buying one at all?

No commitment - we won't be sending you an invoice! - just need some honest feedback please.

Ta,

Dan

I think t-shirts are a super idea.  Personally, I am not so into slogans, and would prefer a t-shirt that just had the names of the organisations, but I am probably in the minority, I would think.

Prefer the peppa to the perm

Just grey and black?  Would prefer another colour.  The greeny one was nice...

If you go with peppa and just these colours, I'd buy a black one.  I expect I'd buy a black one if you went with perm, but I wouldn't like it as much  :D

Love the t-shirt with both logos on  idea. Not so keen on the slogan idea-sorry.
Would prefer a few images of rare breeds perhaps? Just my thoughts, not a criticise.

Not in the UK. That's a US company with a trademark registered only in the US.  :)

Not sure if I am allowed to cast a vote as I am not located in or around Scotland, but for what it is worth, I like the Peppa design but not in grey.  Green or blue would be a nice colour  :eyelashes:

Thanks all, and you don't have to be in Scotland to express an opinion, any comments welcome.  :)

We might do a black one with just the logos - for the understated look and a green one with the logo and slogan for those who want to make a statement.

Looks like peppa is the preferred font.

We wont be able to do sleeves and V necks though - just too much stock to carry for what's not likely to be a HUGE seller.

Further comments still welcome  ;D
