I have a rooster who in the past two days has developed an eye problem, the eye socket is swollen badly and the eye is white, looks like an ulcer? I have bathed it and applied an antibiotic eye drop, I can get him to the vets tomorrow but is there anything I can do? have to say we only have the one vets and they are not much use with chickens. He is eating and strutting as usual, no pain as far as I can tell.
