Am I right in thinking that to show sheep at the festival they need to be led by halter - I think I remember that that was the case last year?

What ?  .  Primitives such as Hebs and Soay in Scotland are not shown on a halter    ......Karen?

I did notice it also says that you have to have your 'movement book' ready for inspection - does that mean the flock book or the movement document?
 
I wasn't there last year but am hoping to be this year.

All breeds were haltered. Some judges like them to be unhaltered for part of the class so that they can see the sheep move freely.

There isn't anything in the rules but I'll take a note that we need to change that 

It's your movement licence not the flock register.

Oh gosh, now pleased I decided to just watch this year and bring sheep next year - I've never had to show a sheep on a halter before.  Training might be fun!

I will, it is the older ladies I am not so sure about.  And if I do bring a Cheviot next year as well as the Kerrys, you must promise not to tell anyone I had one on a halter!
