West Country sheepdog training?

Does anyone know of someone who can help with training a 9 month old sheepdog? A neighbouring smallholder has a small flock of sheep and an enthusiastic, but unpredictable, collie. He has been known to go out on his own, round up the sheep and move them from one field to another, via a stream and under a bridge. On  the other hand, when asked to move them, he often just sits down looking bemused.  ::)


Is there someone in Somerset or Devon who could help?

You could see if David Kennard is taking clients at the moment.  Borough Farm

If he isn't, he should be able to recommend someone.

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Freddie parker may know someone she has a website I think.  She is on the devon/Somerset border.
Old and rare breed Ducks, chickens, geese, sheep, guinea pigs, 3 dogs, 3 cats, husband and chicks brooding in the tv cabinate!
