Born April 2013 these ewe lambs are pretty examples of the lovely compact sheep that is the Shetland sheep. friendly and good for children to handle
The dams are registered with the Shetland Sheep Society the flock is Drumoak and originally came from the prize winning Cassie Flocks . The ewes (mostly Katmogets) have exceptional fleece and conformation. The Ram, Mandeville Yates (055376) was chosen for his extremely good quality fleece and breed confirmation, he is a Moorit (brown fleece) and is also from a prize wining stock.
They are a nice mix and would be an ideal as a pedigree starter flock, they are being bucket fed to handle them and are really friendly.
They have been bred for the quality of fleece as well as conformation and as such the fleece is excellent for hand spinning.
They have been vaccinated with Heptavac-P, they have not been wormed as they have a low egg count as they are on clean land and the vet said not to worm to avoid wormer resistance.
Located in the village of Goodworth Clatford, Andover, Hampshire.
