Informed guesses - I'm no plantsman so will bow to any other opinions!

2. Geranium.
3. Rhododendron (but could also be laurel).

1 - fennel
2 - garden geranium
3 - laurel I think - there's a tiny white flower in one corner but I've not seen laurel flowers.   I did also wonder about bay - see if it has a smell.

Hi hope your book comes soon - always exciting learning new things,  no. 3 i reckon laurel - longer fleshier leaf than bay.
