I have a 5yo just backed yellow dun gelding for sale, not hacked yet due to roads where he is (West Calder) being too busy for a green novice and just the basics mounting/dismounting off block/ground, walk, turn, stop, start, what I would call lightly backed but not ridden away. Pretty much a clean slate but with that first sitting on done with. Viewing at
West Calder, West Lothian by arrangement with the lady who has him. Limited travelling done without issue, but unshown as not my interest in the last decade! Priced £1750 which is low due to work still required and needing him away to pay for winter hay, but this is not negotiable as he is priced £2000 elsewhere.
Also I have a yearling yellow dun filly, his full sister, here in north
Fife, viewing of both parents and full sister foal, plus mare is back in foal for 2014. To make 14'2 at maturity, traditional type, was a solo foal and thus very friendly bordering on a bit overfriendly if not given clear maintained boundaries. Not yet well behaved with farrier (stamps back feet, donkey face and occasional strop about fronts but improving) and never travelled due no transport. £1250 (advertised at £1500) for same reason as above.
Both fully registered, chipped, tetanus vaccinated and easy to catch and lead etc. Photos etc on
