Help - who had collies for sale?
« on: July 31, 2013, 01:30:44 pm »
Hi - have tried to find the thread with no luck.  Someone on here and also with a FB page has some collies almost ready for new homes.  Can anyone point me in the right direction - I can't remember the name of their FB page either to go that route!!

It's in the Dogs section, Castle Farm has them  :fc:

I might be the lucky mum of two new collies myself this week, older rescue boys, that will take me up to 6, might be time for a new screen name  :dog:

My neighbour (Cumbria) has bearded collie x border collie pups just for sale - 8 weeks old.

Both parents work well and the mum (Beardy) especially is lovely, both dogs have nice temperaments (ie you can fuss them loads on the back of the quad bike, and they play happily with their 3 year old daughter).

If I hadn't just rescued the monster pup Daisy, and I was home a bit more, I would have been sorely tempted.

Hiya - just found your FB page too.  A friend of a friend is looking for an agility dog - they have an old collie who is beyond agility age and are looking for another to bring on.  Is it worth putting telling them about your dogs or do you feel that they really need working homes?  The friend runs our agility club and would vouch for the other as a suitable person to have a collie.

Also - she would like to know how much they are and if they are ISDS or KC registered?

Thanks - Donna

Hi Donna.

They are not registered with either the KC or ISDS. Bred for intellegence and the ability to herd.

The mother is a very fast dog (bitch) and highly active. The father likewise.

Only 1 pup left (Art) and I'm asking £150 each.

Thanks - I will let them know, they may well be interested.  If I don't get there first of course.   :innocent:
