Hi there

I do pencil drawings and paintings of dogs - from a photograph you email to me
These make wonderful personal Christmas, Anniversary, Wedding, Retirement and Birthday presents:-

I take commissions from your photograph

(Must have both eyes showing, no tongues hanging out, and be in a position similar to the dog above for it to look good!)

I am now beginning to take orders for Christmas this year.

The painting/drawing you get will be an A4 size drawing, centred in the middle of an A3 page, with white border. Ready for you to frame to your own preference.
It will be either in watercolour, watercolour pencil or graphite pencil.
Rolled and posted to you in a tube.

The cost is €75.00 including postage to anywhere in Europe.
Once the painting is done I will email you a proof photo of it for approval.
If you are happy you then send the payment and I send the painting.

You can email your photographs for consideration to:- artyanimals@eircom.net

I will contact you as soon as photo is received and advise you if a good painting can be done from
the photo you have provided.

If you have two or three photos - email the best ones.
No timewasters please!
I am busy and offer this view first service to save you parting with money for something you do not like - I cannot keep my price this low if I am wasting time painting for people who have no intentions to buy.
I hope you can see this from my point of view.
kind regards
Julie

I have a pencil drawing of this same dog - wonderful springer hunting dog.

Will try to post it over the weekend as it is much better than the watercolour according to Joe  ::)

To see a pencil drawing view the hawk under other livestock or visit www.artyanimals.com

Hi Julie
If you don't mind a little constructive criticism - bearing in mind I cannot paint or draw to save my life but have a great deal of knowledge of dogs being a Show judge - can I suggest that you give this dog a little more chin.  He looks very overshot.  Lovely otherwise.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

I look forward to constructive criticism, especially from good sources, and thank you for saying that.

I had never noticed before, but you are right - I did it from a magazine photo, and I also did it in pencil.

It looks the same doesn't it - must dig out the photo - and do a better example and get you to give me your professional opinion ;D ;D ;D
