It's only just over a week to go to the annual Rare Breeds Show & Sale at Cirencester Livestock Market which incorprates the GOS Show & Sale. The catalogue is now available and can be viewed on the Glos Old Spots Pig Breeders' Club website http://www.gospbc.co.uk/showing-pigs/show-and-sale/
There's a good selection of senior and younger boars, in-pig gilts, a sow and litter and maiden gilts including some of the breeds' rarest bloodlines. There are entries from some of the breed's msot successful showing herds so a good selection for anyone looking for quality breeding stock.
All entries will be card graded to help buyers and at around 10.30 the pigs will be shown. The sale starts at around 1.15. Entry is free but buyers should register with the auctioneers on the day.
The market is centrally located a few miles south of Cirencester on the main A417/419 dual carriageway which links the M5 at Gloucester with the M4 at Swindon.

Come along and you may go home with a bargain!

Agree, it is a shame but this event has been held on the first Saturday of August for 7 or 8 years and was fixed before anyone mentioned a new show at Stoneleigh.

Such a shame it clashes with Stoneleigh. Hopefully it won't next year.

Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.
