You'll presumably know about the Kerryhill sale later in the year but probably don't want to go down that likely rather expensive route. Last year I hired/borrowed a ram from the people that I got my flock of 10 KH from - we are in Scotland so I don't think he'd be much good for you. Certainly their advice was that it would be better to do this rather than buying in your own ram, particularly if keeping any of the female offspring when you'd need to change again after a couple of years. I would get the email addresses of all the people near to you in the KH soc flock book and email all to see you they have one to lend (or buy if you want).

Hi yes we have a sale at Melton Mowbray in sept which I think we will go to and will also have a look at the local flocks around us
