New arrival
« on: July 26, 2009, 11:21:46 pm »

Charlotte arrived Thursday morning with no help from us.  Mum (Star) managed fine on her own!  Now all we have to do is persuade Star that she wants to be a house cow and wants to be milked.

She's lovely. I'm jealous. What breeding is she and Star?

Hi Rosemary

Star is a Beef shorthorn X Aberdeen Angus and the bull was a Beef Shorthorn so Charlotte is 3/4 Shorthorn.

Congratulations, we can sit up until the early hours but all our youngsters seem to arrive when we take a break :cow:

Congratulations...no matter how many you have seen being born, or found after the deed is done, its still a thrill!

We have four pregnant Dexters...I can't wait until next Spring to welcome them all (hopefully) into our family.
