wiltshire horn question
« on: June 26, 2013, 09:26:43 am »
At what point should i be removing my uncastrated wilts horn ram lamb away from the ewes and his mum (we were not confident that we had both his testicles in the rubber ring so didnt ring him).  I know that wilts grow and mature slower than some other breeds and the ewes are seasonal breeders (would that give him a bit more time or not?) so at what age should i take him out from the ewes?  He will be going for meat when big enough.  your thoughts would be helpful.
