Long story but I couldn't get my OSB gilts in pig by a very lazy OSB boar. They are 2 in August.  In the end - last resort (and I should of done this sooner) I put them in with our Berkshire boar and put our Tamworth sow in with the OSB boar - well thank goodness they have all clicked.   So feeling positive that if all goes well we might have some OSB piglets next year... 


meanwhile .... can anyone tell me if they have had/reared OSB x Berkshire and Tamworth x OSB piglets and what was the meat like.

With those crosses you should get scummy pork from the Berker cross and yummy bacon from the Tam cross.
