Hi all - i have found a bloody bulge when foot trimming my 12 yr old female saanen. It was in a hole (the sort that appears if they get a small stone stuck in the soft part). I've trimmed back around the hole so that it is almost flush with the rest of the pad and normally this would even the problem out by the next trimming but it's still there a few weeks on - i've trimmed again and both times have sprayed with terramycin but no idea what it is and it is sore to the touch. It's soft and is about the size and shape of a small redcurrant but darker - any ideas before i get the vet out? Thanks.
