The Irn Bru website has a load of their old ads on it and is pretty entertaining viewing.  Some of the posters they ran were pretty close to the bone but very funny.

I saw the Bru wagon going through Edinburgh this morning and the ad on the back was a photo of a grumpy looking old man with the caption:-

"I had an Irn Bru in 1966 but I don't go on about it"
