Hello Pedwardine
« on: June 17, 2013, 12:41:37 am »
Its us, Freya, Felicity and Filly,

Just to let you know that we have arrived at our new home.....we stood up all the way and looked out of the back window....2 hours we were travelling!!   We went past somewhere called Chatsworth House .....did wonder if these people who kidnapped us lived there - would not have minded, it looked well posh, with a big drive and big fields.

Anyway, we travelled on, and then it went all hilly, and we were on what looked like a moor.  We were very high up, and could see lots of other hills all around us.  When we stopped. we peeped out, and there was a field, so we all jumped out all by ourselves.  Two Soays came running up to the fence in the next field, said their names were Freddie and Florrie.  Had big horns, so we stood back a bit - not wanting to be butted by horns like that.  They brought their friends, two white goats called Molly and Lily ....hmmm......not sure about those two, they seemed a bit boisterous.  In the field on the other side, there are two things with big ears, which upon spotting us, made the most dreadful sound, but we all stood together and were very brave.

Then suddenly a giant goat ....honestly it was enormous, jumped right over the fence into our field. Roxy was screeching "Frank, don't touch them!" Frank?  What sort of name is that, apparantly there are two Franks, and they have this funny little thing walking with them, called Edward ....pygmy I believe?
Anyway, Frank was removed and peace restored. He did not touch us, just wanted to have a look.

Then we spotted Roxy walking up the track - she said she was going to feed the goats.  But, she was carrying a hay sack, and buckets of feed, so of course we thought it was for us!!  We pushed Filly forward and then we all bleated as loud as we could.......Roxy called and made a fuss of us on the way back, but unfotunately the buckets were empty ???   She muttered something about us not needing any feed yet, but we could have a fuss each instead.

We have gone to bed now, but we will be up early to explore the field in the morning.  Please do not worry about us - there is nice grass, a bucket of water, and a lovely view - oh, and all the animals arond us to keep us company.

Roxy promised she would write this for us, so that you would know we had arrived ok.

Love from Freya, Filly and Felicity.

PS.  Roxy is frantically hunting for her camera so she can take pics :)

Hi girls,

thanks for writing. Sounds like you've had a big adventure  :excited: The things with big ears are donkeys. They used to live next door to you when you were babies and they've always made lots of noise. We miss you already but we didn't cry when you left as we know Roxy will look after you so well. You'll get loads more fuss where you are. The Hooligans say "Hi". Be very good girls for your new mum. Freya, I shall miss our cuddles. Make sure you tell Roxy the best bits of you to scratch to get you lipsmacking and tell her, if she ever has the energy, that you love a run and buckaroo with two legged animals and you answer to "Sheep!" and a clap.

Your husband will arrive in October for you to play some new games. "What kind of new games?" you ask. You'll see!  :-*  He's very, very handsome. You'll get funny feelings in your tummy when you meet him in November. And this time next year we---ell  :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep:

Always, your Mum and Dad xxx
