Probably best thing is find a club that does it. We have one near here and I've been invited to go along and watch - it's great fun.  I suspect he won't need much training - lurchers being sight dogs do it on instinct.  And you'll be told teh rules when you join or go along to the first event.  Ours are every Sunday, I just haven't had a free Sunday since I was invited about 10 weeks ago!  But I'm looking forward to it soon.  Enjoy!

Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
