Shetland cattle at the Royal Highland Show
« on: June 06, 2013, 09:09:32 pm »
For anyone interested in Shetland cattle, our 2012 heifer, Rosedean Santa Ana (Annie) will be on the RBST stand at the Royal Highland Show.

I won't be there but Dan will be on the stand at least one day and Ruth Dalton, RBST Field Officer will be there Thursday and Friday and she also has Shetland cattle.

Great, it's good to get the breed noticed.

We're taking one of our cows & her calf to the local gala - not quite in the same league, but at least it's an introduction to a rare breed for the visitors.

Hope Annie has fun.

I hope she stays in the pen  ;D

Dan will be there on Saturday, on the RBST stand, so if you are at the show, please pop along and say hello

Two of our North Ronaldsays are being shown at the RBST stand in Kelso at the Border Union Show this year with their fleeces beside them (before and after style).  But as not many of you will be at that I'll post a photo  :D
registered soay, castlemilk moorit  and north ronaldsay sheep, pygmy goats, steinbacher geese, muscovy ducks, various hens, lots of visiting mallards, a naughty border collie, a puss and a couple of guinea pigs

Used to love going to the Highland show and seeing all the animals looking very clean and pampered. Not been for a few years now. Hope you get good weather.
