Hello,

I have two male entire Anglo-Nubians Goats I brought them for the Freezer, They were born in mid Feb. how long do you think i can leave it before sending them with out the testosterone affecting the taste. I think they about 20kg ish. also much meat could i expect back, i know it wouldn't be huge amounts.

Any ideas would be great

I would have thought you'd want to send them before the next breeding season - ie Sept onwards, when the testosterone starts to rise again.

I sent mine at 8 months but they were castrated.

I reckon that what you send in kilograms comes back as pounds - ie a 20kg live weight animal will give you 20lbs meat (ie roughly half).
