work swap in Wiltshire- I need help
« on: May 21, 2013, 04:04:16 pm »
I am currently changing from an established stud farm to an agricultural mixed smallholding due to horses having become a pit into which money can be thrown and wondered if there is still a work swap scheme whereby people use each others skills and do things like barn raising like in the USA -I think it used to be called WAPP or WAMP or something similar- I'm finding it daunting and boring doing everything on my own and would gladly go and help someone else in return. I have 30 years plus experience of horses and horse breeding. Anyone have any suggestions-clean please :-)

Not so much of a direct swap but have you tried advertising on helpx? If you can provide accomm (sometimes food too) people will come and help for free, in exchange for the roof/meals

www.wwoof.org.uk might be a place to do just that as lachlanandmarcus said!

WWOOFers will need food and board but you'll get some good work done.
