My 2 middle whites who are now 10 weeks old seem to have a cough, they are bright enough and not off their food, but I notice it most in the morning.

Have they been wormed.  Or they could have a slight respirtatory infection of which the coughing could be an indication, more noticeable in the morning when the air is damper

Thanks for replies, have decided to give an antibiotic so vet has prescribed Hexasol, dosage is 1ml per 10kg, catching the little bu££ers is going to be hard enough without trying to weigh them anyone like to make a guess on the weight of a middle white at 10 weeks t

It's weight will be in proportion to its ability to give you the run around as you work out how to catch it

Thanks B B that's what I was thinking, having carried one 2 weeks ago , I reckoned  they were about the weight of a bag of feed!

Well...... Managed to catch them both yesterday but injecting was not successful, first one got it down his neck and shoulder although the next one did get his dose. Now I know that there are many who will say that if you can't inject your pigs you shouldn't keep them but I am rubbish at it. Surely there must be an oral antibiotic that I could give instead. They eat out of their own feed dishes,do you think it's worth asking the vet or should I just get him to come and inject them for me.

Not sure if you can get an oral anti-b for pigs, but it may be worth you asking your vet.  Before getting your vet out it may also be worth checking with your vet if it would be cheaper for you to take the piglets down to them, to save call-out fees.
Don't worry about not being confident with jags - it doesn't bother me, as I've been around animals all of my life & worked on a hill farm in Wales as a teenager.  But my OH won't even attempt it, but is quite happy culling poultry - which I can't bring myself to do.

have they been wormed. I had the same problem.

Mine was lungworm, this gets in their lungs and can cause pneumonia, coughing is an early sign of this, One of my little boars got pneumonia from it so i gave him a few doses of Pen and Strep and it worked a treat! he was running about in no time.

The rest were coughing but have since stopped as they have been wormed.

i would also reccomend you clean there bedding in case it has become dusty
