Posting in here as its the best place for the goat people to see
Its a long shot but Does anyone know of a milker needing a new home ?
A friend has just lost her old goat and her younger goatling is stressing out. She is really looking for another milker, not bothered about breed but horns are a big No No
experianced home with a barn and fields to live in, Must also be CAE negative
She is in Hexham northumberland area

 :wave: distance could be a problem we are in cambrdgeshire. my parents have a BT 1st kidder milker for sale, dehorned, cae tested from a long line of show milk recorded stock.
we can still learn if we are willing to listen.

Thanks, think it would be a bit far though as she does not tow so we would have to bring her down and we are Bottling kids

not a problem, they have just started the shows so they are not pushing a sale atm.

I do have a 4-year old milker for sale in a couple of months (I need her milk right now). BT, all paperwork etc in place. She's running through atm  (R130 and has a *), and milking just over 3ltrs now. Very easy to milk, but needs adult handling otherwise. But she is show stock, so would be priced accordingly. She breeds triplets though, had two kiddings.
I am near St Boswells.

Thanks Anke, Just came on to post that we have found a milk recorded BS first kidder from a show friend of ours and only 20 miles from us
Collecting her on Sunday  :thumbsup:
