Donkeys (northumberland)
« on: May 13, 2013, 06:16:59 pm »
We have 3 jenny donkeys that are looking for a new home together.
This is a 3yr old Mother with her 2yr old sister and 1 yr old daughter (pregnant  before they got her)
These 3 have had nothing done to them since the back end of last year. They originally came to stay here short term after the owner had an accident but the person supposedly looking after them soon got bored.
The owner has agreed they need to go to a new home to get the care they deserve
All 3 are in good body condition but do need their feet trimmed, none are very good with the farrier , we tried to get them done but the farrier who used to come up here has given up  and we cant get another one to come out here  :o
These 3 are very close so really want a home where they can stay together and have a nice warm stable to share.
They are not good with dogs infact they wont let our dogs into the field and seem even worse when there is sheep in the field so could possibly be good protectors
