Chick Grower Feed?
« on: May 03, 2013, 08:19:23 pm »
I asked for a bag of chick crumb when buying my feed. It was only when I got home I realised it says chick grower on the bag. Is this suitable for recently hatched birds or is it a kind of intermediate step between chick crumb and grower/layer pellets? It is medicated feed so I presume its okay for recently hatched chicks, its just the word grower is putting doubts in my mind.

I think the chick grower is from 4-6 weeks as it is slightly lower protein. It is the follow on from chick crumb.
