name suggestions greatly recieved!!
« on: October 25, 2007, 02:15:02 pm »
My partner and i breed pedigree cats and have some new additions coming to us within the next couple of months! the first is Prophet an F5 bengal male, he will be our two bengal females new boyfriend! and stop them screaming the house down every night when they are in heat! the second is an F1 bengal male, he wont be part of a breeding programme as he is infertile (all early generation males are!). we are bringing him home from a fellow breeders cat rescue, his family had him from a kitten for five years and then turned up with him one day said they diddnt want him anymore and drove away! the unfortunate problem is early generation bengals bond extremley closley with their human family, he became very depressed and reclusive, our friend was extremley worried at one point that he would pine himself to death! luckly tho with a load of love, devotion and time from her he is starting to come out of himself again! she knows how much we love the early generation bengals so asked us if we would offer him a home for the rest of his days, and knowing our plans for a smallholding in the future thought we would be perfect as he will have loads of friends to play / relax with and will, im sure, make an excellent rat / mouse trap! and the third is an asian leopard cat, this is the foundation cat for the bengal breed, we cant think of a name for him at all!! i was thinking something 'god like' would be fitting and google'd god's names but PoesPoes dosent really sound right with any of them! any suggestions for this little chappy's name would be greatly recieved!!! pics are attached!  ;D

Google mythological cats.

How about Mau (being the ancient Egyptian word for cat);
