I have some of this sat in the shed - tend not to use it as prefer not to use chemicals. MUst admit to having used it on my worst hit aphid areas (and it worked a treat!) but I did worry about the effects on other insects especially my ladyburds. I made sure they were not around before I sprayed!

But doing some online research today I discovered the stuff has been withdrawn and we have to stop using it/dispose of any stocks by October!!
Do others know this?
How does one dispose of it?

Never used anything like that, but you can take it to the local council "recycling " place so it gets disposed off properly. Do you know why it's been withdrawn?

It apparently has been linked to Alzheimer's!

good I never used it then, my memory s***s without additional help. I was considering it this spring against gooseberry sawfly but decided against.

Don't use Derris!! bad for people & wildlife & has been banned for a while now, along with the majority of chemicals once available to the gardener. Check out the RHS website for more details & (possibly?!) disposal methods. Your local council's Environmental services dept should help...
