Damned Cats
« on: April 11, 2013, 09:12:28 am »
One of our delightful felines brought a half dead rat into the kitchen and it escaped behind the cooker.
The first we knew of this event was that the ignition system stopped working one by one, then the ovens , this left the grill still operating, until the unmistakable aroma of charred rat made it's nasal assault when it was turned on.
So yesterday was spent dismantling the cooker , removing dried out corpse, repairing all the chewed wires and oven insulation material. every one of the silicone spark wires was chewed through as well as the feed  to the top hotplate .
I've had better weeks.

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Someone asked us to make Cocker Spaniel and West Higland today too. Bit of a Dog Day afternoon ;D but not as smelly as Tizaala's dead rat.
