today was a really lovely day .....clear blue skies and lovely and warm...one big draw back to that is, I noticed lots ...well thousands of midges flying about. It is the third day we have had like this here now ,( like mid to late spring !!). I wonder what that will mean regarding blue tongue spread, as it is midges that spread it ? As much as I like this weather ,perhaps we should be hoping for a cold snap again.
I really hope everything goes ok for you Blinkers.....good luck...

Things like this make me feel really safe and secure in the knowledge that the government are as ever ontop of things , and know exactly what they are doing ....and that all the paperwork and traceability passports that they made farmers accept, work without fault or failure (also remember
where F+M came from last time ?) .

If things like this were in a film we would say ..."OMG that could just not happen !!!!"

Keep it secret  never this is the age of open government  when the government promised truth, honesty, and above all to keep us all informed.  Wasnt that part of their manifesto.

We live in Lincolnshire and the local news(look north) had a DEFRA spokesman saying we needed to get on and vaccinate immediately, only in the later news it had changed to "when the vaccine is available" which is May according to my vet.  I have put my name down ready.
