We picked up our first ever hens today from a lovely breeder in Ludlow. We chose hybrids in the end but four different ones so we'd get a mix of egg colours  . So now we have a speckledy hen, a beechwood blue, a white star & finally a Sussex ranger. I think hubby has fallen in love already

Now look forward to hours just watching them do their chicken thing. They are great timewasters!
