turkeys for Christmas maybe only 10 or so to try them see how they go
just putting feet in water at the mo
if it doesn't work we will dump it and try something else

Hi,good luck there are a lot of us all in the same boat. The big problem with POL is there are so many produced in Romania and shipped over here it keeps the price artificially low.

Good luck with what ever you try.

To have 30 pullets at POL you need to set 100 eggs.

Pointless breeding rubbish, as the market is already flooded with backyarders and birds nowhere near what the breed is suppose to look like.

Exhibition and Utility are almost 2 different breeds now and finding any good breeding stock at this time of the year is a big ask.

I sell my POL for 20 minimum (large Fowl) and Wyandotte bantams for 15 each (POL pullets).

It' a hobby, not a way of making money. With the right breeds and stick to no more that 2 you may just cover your costs.

In my opinion Wyandotte bantams are simple to breed and easy to sell, but you must breed quality birds.

Traditional Utility Breed Hatching Eggs sent next day delivery. Pure bred Llyen Sheep.
