I had Yellow Fever when I went to Africa (as well as typhoid, colera etc and malaria tablets...) surely the prices can't  have gone up that much in 20 years? scary!

I didn't need as many jabs as I thought (I seem to recall about £20 for yellow fever?).
They have a map with malaria risks, and our area was relatively low risk, so I chose not to buy anti malarials.

The food markets in Kota Kinabalu are amazing - you have to try durian, and there were skewers of giant fresh prawns...mmmm. Also various mystery fruit and meat!
