Good news at last!
« on: March 13, 2013, 08:50:21 am »
My first little lamb of the year, Ryeland x welsh mule, a little girl born on Mother's Day!     All the ewes are in and taking their blooming time about lambing, some looking fit to burst  ::) .  This ewe has always had twins or triplets previously, so I wonder whether the extreme weather conditions had a lot to do with it.  Anyway the lamb is fit and healthy and I am now waiting for the grass to start growing!  Only another 15 to go ....

Now that certainly will have put a well deserved smile on your face!   :fc:  for many more such smiles.
PS 'Fat lamb' aka Bugsy is happy and healthy, grown into a fine looking chap and still as friendly as ever.   :sheep:

Brilliant news - she looks very cute    I am another waiting for the grass to grow - we desperately need some warm sun to bring it along.
