Showing for the first time!
« on: March 11, 2013, 01:53:12 pm »
We will be doing the local show circuit for the first time this year with our Ryeland tup and maybe a lamb or 2 if they turn out up to standard (fingers crossed!).
Id be really greatful of any advice- especially on the following:
1. What to use to bathe the sheep with/how to clean them before the show- I've seen various things being used such as washing up liquid. How soon before should I bathe them? I have facilities to keep them inside.
2. What I need to take with me (other than the obvious trailer, halter, white coat, hay etc)

I'm excited but also a little nervous so thanks in advance for your advice!

There is a good article on showing coming up in the March edition of the RFBS newsletter.
