New kid in town
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:35:38 am »
50 years farming on the family farm.... nearly all gone now. Only five acres left and another twenty five rented out  :(. Thirty years as an agricultural engineer on anything from lawnmowers to Cat D9s. Made redundant last year so doing a little fixing for local farmers out of the back of my landrover. Got a nice workshop too where i spend most of my time.... Off there now  :)

Hello and welcome from  :gloomy: Carnoustie

Where are you based? My pa-in-law has a workshop where he spends a lot of time - we've just put in more windows so that we can see what he's up to  ;D

Cheshire born and bred

My workshop has no windows.... to keep nosey people at bay... but it does have an upstairs lounge with sofas and air hockey.... and a music room.... and a log burner to keep it toasty.... and a bar with a fridge  :).... and motorbikes, and Landrovers. That could be why i'm always there  :P
