grey matter in egg
« on: March 04, 2013, 07:01:14 am »
I found a grey lump inside a duck egg, just adjoining the yolk. The egg was about 3 weeks old and the lump looked a bit like mould - not brains in case any of you wants to crack a joke on this egg  ::) . Could it be mould? How? :&>

More likely a tiny bit of tissue from the hen's oviduct, before the shell was added  :chook:
