Corn Dollys

Hi everyone,

I thought I would try and share this video clip with you. I'm afraid I am having a bit of trouble with the clip itself, the clip seems to play fine for some people but not for others (including me!) so I hope at least some of you can watch it!

It is of my great grandad Fred Mizen who was locally (Essex) famous for making corn dollys and made a huge version of the lion and unicorn for the great british exhibition. Some of his corn dollies still survive in museums around the country, including the Great Bardfield museum.

The family knew of the clips existance but I have only just seen it after my mother bought it from Pathe.

If anyone is curious, he lost his eye in WWI
