We have (and will have more
) weaners for sale, as well as some other stock and thought I'd put a quick post on incase anyone is thinking ahead to spring and when the weather will improve
We have pure bred/birth notified Kunekune (all boars will be castrated) and Kunekune cross Oxford Sandy & Black (bit more inclined to rotivate than the pure Kunes, but still slightly lighter on the feed bill and producing VERY nice pork
)
Some will be ready to go at the end of February and some towards the end of March - if you're looking for young weaners please get in touch to reserve yours now (there aren't that many left) Cross breed weaners, £50 each, purebred Kunes (unregistered for pork) £100
We also have some 6 month old Kunekune pigs (unregistered) again all boars are castrated and there are a few gilts too, so if anyone is looking for a halfway grown one - we've got some of them too
There's also a cracking pedigree Kunekune boar, who'd be fantastic for anyone looking for a breeding boar. He's an Andrew, out of an Awakino sow (Adelaide the wonder-pig) and is stunning. He has 2 piri piri, great confirmation and even at 3 days old, has the makings of a star. His older brother has gone on to do well both in the show ring and in the fatherhood stakes, producing great piglets and lots of piri piri
He'll be getting castrated in a couple of weeks though, unless someone wants him for breeding, so let me know asap
Looking for £125 for him please.
We've also still got Poppy our OSB sow for sale, who's just about to be weaned from her third litter. If anyone can offer a good, experienced breeding home for this gal, please get in touch. Offers around £130 please.
And lastly
We've got a young birth notified (and very registerable) Large Black gilt from a Nocturne sow, with a Majestic Eagle sire. Born last June, well grown and socialised. We'd like £200 for this one
or else she'll end up in the freezer
(sorry, but I am
supposed to be cutting back a bit
)
They'll all be wormed before leaving and are very well socialised too
We can help with delivery/trailer if needed and are often up and down between Glasgow and Aberdeen, so if you're further north, don't be put off
As always, we're happy to barter or swap W.H.Y. - might be in the market for some nice, rare breed chickens later in the spring and manual labour always goes down well
Please drop me a pm, email me at [deleted]@aol.com or see our website
