Well i have had my land 2 acres for 18 months now and have replaced fences and pleached hedges.I have had a ph test done with a result of 5.5.So the question is how much lime do i need, how much is it, and is pellet lime better than the normal powder lime.

http://www.aglime.org.uk/lime_calculator.php

Hope this helps - though it's possibly aimed at the 'big boys' it should give you an idea of quantities for your soil
