ewe lambs wanted in Norfolk
« on: June 17, 2009, 08:07:46 pm »
I have two orphaned ewe lambs we bottle fed, now about 10 weeks old.Originally they were to be fattened for the freezer, but being girls, and bottle fed, therefore very endearing,we plan to keep them and breed from them next year. I have a neighbour with a lovely natured Jacob ram we can use. I need to make a flock - two are not enough to make the work worthwhile, so ideally I'm looking for another 4 or so ewe  lambs, or one year olds, to make up a very select little flock. I am new to this but have access to experienced help. We have excellent grazing.  I'm in Norfolk, but have a livestock trailer so can travel to collect, though I'd prefer not to go long distances. Any lambs looking for a good home out there?
