I hope to have the following large fowl hatching eggs available from late April (we always test for fertility first and regularly until we stop sending out eggs in early July):

Silver Laced Wyandotte
Dorking
Barnevelder
Speckled Sussex

Also Narragansett turkey hatching eggs.

We're in Herefordshire or can post to you.

Please PM me for further details.

I have some French Copper Black Marans this year, as well as my own line of Cuckoo Marans   for nice dark eggs and plenty of them www.darkbrownegg.info

Plus some very nicely bred (well I think so  :D  ) Cream Legbars see www.blue-eggs.co.uk

And hatching eggs from my home bred Miss SugarnSpice see www.misssugarnspice.co.uk   I still have a few of these POL and just in lay to give a really colourful egg basket -see below.  They are all good layers as I breed with utility values firmly in mind

You are welcome to collect from Worcestershire/Herefordshire borders, or will happily post out eggs

We should have Blue Swedish ducks and Chocolate Pekins later in the year once I have checked fertility.
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

When my lot start laying again (and I've checked fertility) I will have:

Silver Appleyard (large) duck eggs.
White Campbell type (look like the real thing but 2nd hand ducks so not certain).

Indian Game x LS (utility)
Croad Langshan (bantam)
Blue egg/tinted egg layers (blue eggs:Cream legbar type-bought as pure, but sl. wrong colour birds, tinted eggs: CL type x Columbian black tail)

Happy to swap eggs or sell.
Old and rare breed Ducks, chickens, geese, sheep, guinea pigs, 3 dogs, 3 cats, husband and chicks brooding in the tv cabinate!

I'm new to egg hatching. :dunce:  Are hatching eggs the same as fertile eggs? What I'm looking for is fertile eggs that my broody bantams could raise.

I'm looking for something that can be raised for the table. Maybe light sussex? I presume that the really big meat birds such as hubbards or cobbs would be too big for a bantam to brood????

Your bantam should be able to raise large fowl chicks, no problem. She won't be able to brood many eggs though as she simply won't be big enough to keep them all warm.  Unless you plan to keep them all in a barn or similar I wouldn't personally set eggs under a broody until late March and even then depending upon the weather.  Cold is a chick's enemy, wet is a chick's enemy, cold and wet is ......

When I fire up the incubator in a few weeks time I would like to try some Cherry Valley duck eggs if anyone has some spare. I am in Fife and would like to collect them if possible if not the postie will have to do.
I have Kaki cross duck eggs if anyone wanted.
