Another very basic question, do I inject my sheep under the armpit where there is no wool?  I am used to injecting my goats (but hate doing it).

Also does it matter that they are wet and muddy or should they dry off before I do it?

I have always injected mine at the back of the neck, I would always pick a clean dry spot.

For subcutaneous, the recommended spot is on the neck - part the fleece, lift the skin, and push the needle into the 'tent' so formed.  You should find the skin itself clean and dry, as it's been covered by fleece  :)

You can download the Eblex ''Parasite control guide" booklet from the sheep literature page.  In the booklet they show and describe recommended methods and sites for s/c, i/m injections, drenches and pour-ons
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
