6 gilts and 5 boars born this morning ......at least she waited for the snow to stop falling. being her first litter we are really pleased.

(and for photo's too obviously )I rechecked my diary and found my 'end of the month' sow and 2 gilts are actually due from the 21st onwards (oops on my part, but they are all in already anyway ) so hopefully I'll have some babies piglets soon too
they are british lops. really pleased as her and her sister (she had were covered by a young unproved boar. the one that farrowed 8 on the 2nd was his first cover and with out going into too many details shared his semen between the gilt and my mother (needles to say mum non too pleased as she does not have much to do with the pigs but i needed a extra pair of hands)
And to you HH - how many litters have 'you done' now then HH?
photos too large to post sorry HH......and i am clueless what to do with them maybe if my DD calls in she will do it for me.
