Wanted: Highland Cattle
« on: January 06, 2013, 05:40:56 pm »
I'm looking for some highland heifers or cows, would need to be registered and would have to be in the southwest area or close to it, would also prefer the cows to be on the smaller side if possible.
Thanks

Where abouts in the SW? I might be able to get a number for you to try?
We'll turn the dust to soil,
Turn the rust of hate back into passion.
It's not water into wine
But it's here, and it's happening.
Massive,
but passive.

Bring the peace back

I know there is a smallholding near Jedburgh in Scottish Borders and they have mini Highland Cattle (like mini Shetland ponies I suppose), pressumably small ones used for breeding in the past and out pop mini ones, perhaps you could google?

Some are advertised near me on 'preloved' might be worth a look for your area or farming ads.

We're situated near Exeter, I've not been able to find miniature highlands in the uk. I have looked on preloved, farming ads etc. But i thought it would be a good idea to post on here too see if anyone knew breeder's in my area.

Will find out for you the name of the holiday accom Blackdane as their minis must have come from somewhere in Britain, not necessarily scotland - will get back to you in next couple of days if I can find it.
