When do fellow ryeland people shear their tups before showing?

Most Ryeland breeders shear the rams and lambs around now, my Ryeland customers are booking in for next week.

Oh heavens! Does that mean I have to keep them in? I think its a bit unfair to bring them in....can I shear later? I also have wool rot and wool lift in a couple...mind you its not surprising gicen the weather we have had!
Having had sheep for 30 odd years I have discovered that Ryelands are the easiest sheep to catch and handle that I have ever had and am going to venture into showing

.....unfortunately hairdressing is not one of my best skills....
