My four Hebs are happy in the paddock with my sweetie Bob the ram, my question is do I need to move them? I plan to build a lambing shed but I could move Bob out nearer the ewes lambing time? but when would be the latest I would move him? he shows little interest in the girls now and allows them to eat with out hassle??

My old ram was very mild mannered chap and he stayed with the ewes up to and including lambing, tho I did take him out a few weeks later. So near lambing time should be fine. I wouldnt move him out if he would be alone tho, as he would be too lonely, he would need a companion (we use a castrated boy (wether) for this purpose).
