Anyone fancy giving me a hand?
« on: December 31, 2012, 09:41:15 pm »
Ok, I don't like asking for help but I have some stuff at the new bit of land that all needs doing at once.
Most of the time it's just me but when he is free hubby helps too.
The land I have has been left in a discraceful midden with tat left every where. My poor sheep are only able to use part of it as untill I have cleaned it up there are bits of plastic etc that could get swallowed.
There are tarps half buried, wheels in the hedge and the most overgrown hedges waiting to velcro sheep into them.

I cannot afford to pay, but will gladly repay any help by doing chores/helping out in return.
I'm near Glastonbury and can feed you and house (!) and possibly get you rip roaring drunk :eyelashes: :eyelashes:

Wish I could, CW.  I'm sure there must be someone near enough.

If I wasn't so so helpless at the moment I'd be there in a shot, It's always the same , you were the only one to help when we needed it now I can't return the favour, Dave has loads of mates he could round up for a weekends work , and I'm sure  he will organise a lift with one of them .Sorry sweetheart. :bouquet:

I would be there like a shot if I had someone to care for animals. Dave, if you could get as far as the bridge I could meet you there and you could borrow my Landy for a couple of days.

Aww, sorry Donna, can't even get away to see my folks for Christmas at the mo.  :(

Hope someone nearer to you can give you an hour or two.  HelpEx?  WWOOF?

Sounds like mine when we first moved in but we had fishing nets, fishing lines with huge rusty hooks attatched, barbed wire, half buried landrovers, tin sheets, road cones, rusty barrels, rubber mats ??? , hessian sacks, rotten pallets , miles of rotten rope etc etc. We still have a rotting landrover in the burn which we cannot get to cause of the terrain but is steadily being washed out to sea! It all gets sorted eventually
