will you get any at this time of year?  Ours don't start laying until March.

Bigchicken if you dont find any eggs nearby then if you want some geese we are downsizing on numbers of species, so have our few heavy meat geese for sale (Embden / Embden x Toulouse boys x3, Toulouse girls x 2), ideally we would like them to go together (understanding that the spare boy might go in the pot, that's fine!).
We are in Aberdeenshire (Aboyne area).
Both females lay well and one of them was raised by us from an egg that was laid so definitely fertile!

Lachlanandmarcus, thanks for your kind offer looking for eggs cheapest option for me. I am the opposite decreasing my overall stock but increasing number of species.

Hiya,

We have a few white Embden type geese that escaped Christmas Dinner and I hope will start laying in the spring. I can drop you a line if / when they do, since we're only in Stirling.

Our chinese geese have been laying ( :yum: ) but I guess they are probably not a meaty enough bird?
Can post you some if you like though when they lay the next lot.
I ate the ones she laid last week, sorry!

Colliewoman thanks for your very kind offer but as you say not meaty enough, I have never tasted a goose egg so it on my wish list cheers.
