And the good news is...
« on: December 24, 2012, 12:05:34 pm »
... the days are getting longer!!!!!  :sunshine:

(Thought we needed something nice to cheer us up...  ;D )

Any more good news anybody?

(I would have said it stopped raining here, but I know it's only for a short while, so that's not really purely "good".)

For me it's passing the Solstice although some  :sunshine:  would be pleasant too.

It did stop raining briefly today.

My best news, though, is that blood tests show the inflammation in my system caused by the rheumatoid arthritis is going down and xray show that there is no damage to the joints in my hands and feet.

And the good news this morning is - I found some money!

Now if it went on like this every day of the year, at least the cost of food and drink etc would be covered... Alas, that won't happen. I was turning my mattress and decided to dig a bit deeper, hoover in hand to get rid of some of the dust of the centuries  ::) - and found 6 pound coins! The explanation for that is that I usually have a pound coin in my jeans pocket (for the shopping trolley), which then regularly falls out when I dump my jeans at the end of the bed...

But a nice surprise nonetheless.  :D
